The latest update to ARK: Survival Evolved didn’t only bring us new dino’s. In today’s episode we have a look at the brand new Chemistry Table!
So, we all know that the latest update to ARK: Survival Evolved brought us the Direbear and the Manta, but it also brought us the Chemistry Table and the Primitive Cannon! Well, in today’s episode I try to figure out what the Chemistry Bench is and how it works.
If you’re like me, you probably put up 4 or more Mortar and Pestles in your new base. That way, you can speed up the crafting of narcotics, gunpowder, spark powder and all other things. But even with this method, it still takes a while to craft a lot of those items. Well, the Chemistry Table solves that problem.
But first of all, let me tell you it takes a lot of materials to craft the chemistry table. With 250 metal ingot, 250 cementing paste, 100 sparkworder, 250 crystal, 250 polymer and 250 electronics, you will have to do some gathering of resources. But once you have a chemistry table, you’ll wonder how you lived without it.
Compared to the Mortar and Pestel, the new Chemistry table will craft at 2/3 of the cost. As an example: in order to craft 100 gunpowder in the mortar and pestle, you would need 100 charcoal and 100 spark powder. Using the chemistry table, the same amount of resources will get you 150 gunpowder in half the time! Important to know though … the chemistry table requires electricity AND gasoline in order to run. But once it is set up, you’ll be making those narcotics and the gunpowder in no time!
